Sarah Hinshaw, Ph.D., LCSW
Sarah Hinshaw, Ph.D., LCSW, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science at Tulane School of Medicine. She is the Clinical Director of Early Childhood Supports & Services, a specialized clinic offering mental health and family support services to children 0-5 years old and their families. She also serves as a clinician at the Trauma and Grief Center at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans and engages in advocacy work through membership on the Children’s Cabinet Advisory Board and as a faculty member of Tulane’s Early Childhood Policy Leadership Institute. Dr. Hinshaw’s interests are primarily focused on practice and policy issues around perinatal, infant, and early childhood mental health, family therapy, and child custody issues in divorced and separated families, especially as related to very young children.
