Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most often parents are seeking information or support regarding parenting, child development or child behavior. Parents can also use the time to plan for self care.

  • 45 minutes usually allows ample time to discuss parent observations, make an initial action plan, and play a little.

  • No, PLAY and Talk provides support and education. If a family is interested in therapy we will support them in finding community resources.

  • Yes, many families find it useful for all the key players to think together about how to best support a child's learning and development.
