Christine Neely
Christine Neely has been working in the field of Education for over 25 years and has always made efforts to improve standards and professional development at every institution she worked with.
She received her undergraduate degree from Tulane University and remained in New Orleans to receive her Master’s in Education from Loyola.
Beginning in the lower elementary classroom, Christine has spent considerable time serving as a lead teacher in grades PK-3rd while working closely with administration to mentor new teachers, develop curriculum and make the switch to Common Core.
Christine has also had ample experience working in the informal Education arena with her years developing programming for families and children as the Public Programs Manager at Audubon Institute and serving as the Education Director of the Louisiana Children’s Museum.
She is an advocate of continual professional development and has presented at National conferences.
She is an active member of Philanthropic Organization for Women (P.E.O), where women celebrate the advancement of women through scholarships, grants, awards, loans, and stewardship of Cottey College.
She is married and has two grown sons.
